We did not consider cult-favorite brand Timi & Leslie because almost all of its bags are made with leather and weigh 2 pounds or more. The OiOi and JJ Cole diaper bags are also on the heavier side, according to their online specs. We were intrigued by some of the newest diaper bags available, such as the Boken Diaper Bag, a lightweight, convertible diaper bag, and the Paperclip Diaper Bag, aimed at dads, with a built-in changing station for when a changing table isn’t available in the men’s restroom. (Like the Petunia Pickle Bottom boxy backpack, the changing pad folds out from the front of the bag; the Paperclip also has a wall on both sides.). Unfortunately, enough customers complained about broken zippers with the Boken Diaper Bag that we decided to hold off on field-testing it, and at the time of our review, the Paperclip Diaper Bag cost over $200.

Skip Hop makes some excellent diaper bags, and this one is no exception. The Skip Hop Duo Signature has a slightly more modern styling than the classic lines and colors of the Grand Central models, and is shaped more like a tote or over-the-shoulder bag than it is a purse. It's narrow and deep rather than wide and short, and a bit smaller overall than the purse-shaped models, so it's good for someone who doesn't want to be lugging around a truly enormous diaper bag. It's also about the same width as most strollers, so it doesn't stick out on the sides a lot when you hang it on the handlebars. But while it's smaller overall, it's still super functional. It has 10 pockets, a separate insulated bottle holder, a breathable side pocket, a key ring clip, diaper changing pad, and a great interior liner. The Skip Hop Duo's main interior pocket is super deep and we loved the lining, it was soft but also rugged enough to make wipe-cleaning easy. The padded shoulder strap was comfortable, as were the padded carry-handles. We were able to fit everything in that we needed, including diapers, wipes, baby bottles, and cloths. Being relatively tall, we found that when it was fully loaded it did tend to topple over sometimes. We also found it less convenient to reach in and easily grab something, since things tended to get stacked on top of one another, so this design might not be for everyone. Also, the changing pad was a bit small relative to some others on this list. So, this Skip Hop Duo Signature model is an excellent diaper bag, with some minor drawbacks. Note that Skip Hop also makes a Skip Hop Duo Diaper Backpack that is very similar to this but in the backpack style, and is also very well-reviewed. Interested? The adjustable, padded no-slip strap and tote handles make the bag one of the easiest and most comfortable to carry; we found that the adjustable strap is long enough to allow smaller and medium-size adults to carry the bag messenger-bag-style if they choose. Not many in our tests could be carried multiple ways, and we appreciated the versatility when walking long distances or quickly setting the bag down and picking it up again. At 1¾ pounds (our own weight measurement), the Skip Hop was one of the lightest bags among our dozen finalists. It has easy-to-attach clips that make it a cinch to hang on your stroller (although this does run the risk of tipping your stroller over).
We ultimately used the diaper bags in nearly 50 real-world settings in two states, including on airplanes, at the beach, at the mall, at Costco, at an amusement park (where birds landed on the diaper bags and pecked at them), and at the zoo, playgrounds, restaurants, a kids soccer game, museums, the doctor’s office, and the pool. Almost all the diaper bags traveled with us during a family vacation to Hawaii, where it was humid, sandy, occasionally rainy, and about 85 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit on most days. We hung the bags on our stroller—which indeed tipped over several times, though luckily not with the baby strapped inside it!—during long walks, and slung it over our shoulders or backs the rest of the time. In the majority of our outings, we changed the baby’s diaper to see how manageable it would be to set up the changing pad and reach the diapers and wipes.

This is an enormous and stylish black vegan leather diaper bag with every pocket, compartment, and nook and cranny you need to make for a perfect journey with your baby! In our testing, this designer baby diaper bag received the most attention from other moms - every time we used it we got comments about how nice it is and questions about where we found it. And we were not surprised given just how nice this bag is. It is designed as a large tote, coming in at about 19" wide, 13" high, and 7" deep, meaning that it has nearly a full cubic foot of space inside, which is really cavernous! And it's not just inside space that makes this diaper bag amazing, it's also the two zippered outside pockets and the five additional outside pouches that are perfect for quick access to baby wipes, bottles, pacifiers, and the included changing pad (using the large back outside pocket). There is an amazing lined pocket on the front that can be used for anything wet - like a wet bathing suit or clothing, while keeping the rest of the bag and its contents dry. It also has two insulated pockets on the inside that are perfect for keeping a bottle or snack chilled during a trip, and a ton of additional space that is perfect for holding a nursing cover, blanket, change of clothes, and more. The changing pad comes with a little travel pouch that's the right size for a diaper and wipes when you want something to quickly bring with you to the changing table. It also includes a shoulder strap that you can use to carry it across your chest, and it also includes stroller straps to help you attach it to your stroller (but be careful with that!). We loved nearly everything about this black faux leather diaper bag, and thought it was an amazing addition to this year's diaper bag buying guide. The Honest Company also makes a backpack version of this bag, called the Honest Company City Backpack Diaper Bag, for about the same price, that is worth checking out if you prefer that style. Downfalls? Well if we're being really picky, the zippers were finicky sometimes, and the tote straps were a good size for holding with your hand or forearm but not quite big enough to put on your shoulder. But those are relatively minor points that are about our subjective experience. But one big challenge with this bag is the price, coming in at around $150 or so which seems expensive for a faux leather diaper bag. If you love the styling but want to save some cash, check out the Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Diaper Bag that has a very similar look and functionality but is a little bit smaller and only about half the price. Thirty-One has invited its distribution center workers to relocate to Dallas and continue working at the 651,000-square-foot distribution center space it is leasing in Flower Mound, a suburb of Dallas. Distribution center workers who remain in Columbus will be eligible for a severance package and outplacement services, including onsite job fairs, Monroe said. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/f5/47/05/f54705a5c58c8e42ea2e1d10022a4b31---gifts-thirty-one-gifts.jpg
This is an awesome backpack-style diaper bag that is stylish, durable, convenient, comfortable, and feature-rich. It's a medium-sized diaper bag that you can carry has a hand-tote or as a diaper bag backpack. It has a modern gender-neutral style, helped by the heather gray color, the leather accents, the asymmetrical front pocket, and its vintage style button. It's the sort of bag that both mom and dad will be willing to wear, making it one of the only unisex diaper bags on our list. And it has some great features. First, we loved the side baby bottle exterior pockets, the zippered wipe dispenser on the side, and the hidden pocket on the back (up against your back) that can hold valuables without the risk of pick-pocketing. That's great if you live in the city, or travel to urban areas where that's an issue (like on the subway!). We also liked the substantial padding against the back, to keep things comfortable for longer excursions. It also includes stroller straps on the sides, though we warn you to be careful about attaching diaper bags to strollers due to the tipping hazard. In that regard, it's definitely a good size for throwing into the stroller's bottom basket, but still big enough to hold most of your stuff. Speaking of size, the main compartment is really quite large and is divided well into a mesh pocket area, a zippered pocket, and elastic pockets for holding smaller items. We were able to fit everything necessary into the bag without any issues. It's great to have a nicely divided main compartment, to prevent things from sinking down to the bottom and remaining elusive in your desperate search for that last clean pacifier! We also want to point out that this company is very responsive to customer concerns. This is their third version of this great diaper bag, with improved stitching and reinforcements based on customer feedback (and if you have the older version with an issue, you can email them and they'll send you the newer one for free!). And the price is right too, coming in around $40. So, if you're looking for the comfort and convenience of a backpack, this is a great option! Note that we also checked out the HapTim Multifunction Large Baby Diaper Bag Backpack, which is very similar and very highly recommended. Interested? We spent 14 hours researching online and off to first create a list of about 40 finalists, culled from the designer bags, cheap knock-offs, and dozens of other bags available. We then combed through hundreds of user reviews on Amazon, Babies“R”Us, Zappos, BuyBuy Baby, and Target, and read dozens more reviews by baby-gear experts and parent bloggers. We spoke in person with four local baby retailers and consignment stores about what their customers want, which brands they carry, and why.1
This is one of the biggest bang-for-the-buck diaper bags on this list, with great style and functionality. Note that if you don't like the pinkish coral color, it comes in a ton of additional styles. This diaper bag is a hand-tote that converts into a comfortable diaper backpack. It's very large, though not as large as the SkipHop or SOHO, but it's definitely large and functional enough for most purposes. What we loved about it is that it's only like 35 bucks, and it has some features that make it competitive with the best bags on this list. It has side pockets, one of which has a slit in it so it can dispense baby wipes! It also has a zippered mom pocket on the outside that can fit keys and a phone, and the top zippered compartment is really quite big and well-divided into a main space for diapers, cloths, clothing, toys, etc. It also has a zippered mom pocket on the inside, and an insulated zippered baby bottle pocket on the front that can fit up to 3 bottles (mostly the modern short and wide ones, not the classic tall and narrow ones). It has a clever way of dividing its space, as you can use the front pocket for just bottles, or you can push it back into the main compartment and use it for much larger things. That will end up being a separate space at the bottom of the main compartment, and this works out well because it brings the bottom of the main compartment up much higher (which makes it less likely to lose things in the depth). Overall, we found this diaper backpack to be really excellent for the relatively low price. Don't expect super high quality hand-feel for the fabrics at this price, or expect anything fancy like stroller straps or removable zippered pockets, but we think you'll be surprised with what they've pulled off! Savings-savvy office workers love the insulated totes, lunch sacks and zipper pouches that keep cold food and drinks fresh for break time, enabling them to save money by prepping their own lunches at home. Working at 31 gifts I really was focused on my customers and the relationships with them. I did not work for 31 to promote or make a lot of money. I wanted to connect with people and help them in the way of customer service I hadn't previously experienced. I learned more about communication and the most rewarding part of the job was when a customer was completely satisfied and referred me as a consultant to a friend. https://i.pinimg.com/280x280_RS/0b/e8/c0/0be8c0bad036c5d7f44cd7a86a666f01.jpg

Sold at Nordstrom and other upscale retailers, the Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags (and backpack diaper bags) are among the most popular, super-stylish, and high quality diaper bags available on the market. The styles are awesome and range from quilted black with gold trim, to flowers and abstract watercolors. The designs are subtle and give the bags a high-end look. And the price tends to reflect that, with this Boxy Backpack model coming in at just over $150, making it the most expensive diaper bag option on our list! Its price is almost justified by its high quality and functionality. The bag we tried, the Indigo model pictured to the right, was made right here in the USA of cotton canvas that has a durable glazed coating on it for stain and water resistance. For functionality, this bag is really large, coming in at about 0.90 cubic feet of capacity. For pockets, there are several inside (8 of them), including two with zippers, and 3 outside (two for baby bottles on the side, and one larger one on the front that holds the included diaper changing station and pad). So, there's tons of space inside, and plenty of pockets for organizing baby care products, and the top opens up nice and wide for easy access. In terms of versatility, it also has several carrying options. You can carry it like a tote using the top grab handle, or use it as an over the shoulder diaper bag, backpack diaper bag, or attach to the stroller using the included stroller straps. It looks best as a shoulder diaper bag, but when you get sore it's great to have the option to wear it as a backpack. In our testing, we found the bag to be generally high quality, stylish, versatile, functional, and really large. It stands on end on its own, which is really nice - in other words, it doesn't tend to topple over like some other diaper bags. Maybe that's why it's called the Boxy model since the bottom is pretty boxy and stable. We also liked that it came with a sleek plastic baby wipe holder or diaper tote that made trips to the changing table much easier. There's really a lot to love about this diaper bag - but is the price worth it? Well, there were some limitations to the bag we purchased for testing. First, we were surprised that there was no insulated pocket for bottles or foods, not even the bottle pockets on the sides have any insulation. Second, the fabric is available in cotton canvas, embossed stitching, and a plush chenille. We actually only tested the cotton canvas, but we made the mistake of putting it in the washing machine after a milk spill, and the bag fell apart a bit - some of the stitching came loose, and it seemed like the bag lost some of its water resistance. So that was a bummer. Finally, the backpack straps aren't padded so they're not the most comfortable straps in the world - same with the shoulder strap. So definitely some limitations that might make you reconsider whether the style and Petunia Pickle Bottom name recognition are worth the price? We'll let you decide! Interested? You can check out the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack diaper bag here. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/f5/bb/d5/f5bbd582cc6f6142e944d5cb95c3fc79--girl-scouts-kansas.jpg

I have a JJ Cole bag, it's about the perfect size... maybe a little big now that DS is getting older and doesn't require so much stuff. It's 17" wide x 13" tall x 6" deep. I gave that one to my mom so she has a diaper bag (she watches DS during the day). It worked, but I never really did like it. I don't really like the tote style bags. I think they're kinda awkward.

I have several 31 bags. One of my faves is the organizing utility tote- I use it as my teacher work bag. I love this style for a diaper bag too. The new spring catalog is out and I want the party punch print. Because it does not close I plan on getting the zipper pouch for things lime diapers , ointments etc... and mini pouch for smaller items . Of course, they will all be personalized !

Thirty-One offers exclusive, on-trend accessories and organizational solutions – most of which can be personalized. Cindy Monroe launched the company in the basement of her home in Tennessee in 2003. She had four employees at her side. Today, she has more than 2,000 employees, and an Independent Consultant sales force nearly 80,000 strong. Thirty-One exists because Cindy wanted to provide an opportunity for women to find financial freedom through owning their own business in direct selling. The company?s name comes from Proverbs 31, which celebrates hard-working women who are compassionate, gracious and inspiring to their families and the people around them. Thirty-One’s foremost purpose is managing and building a business that helps its Consultants succeed in theirs. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/34/10/91/34109111d3a768de976d4cb8db4b361f--tiered-serving-tray-fine-china.jpg
Want to babywear but still need to carry a diaper bag—is that even possible? Yes, it is. It’s also safe and can be comfortable when done right. You just need a front carry baby carrier and a backpack style diaper bag. Put your carrier on first, then put your baby inside the carrier and finally put your backpack diaper bag on. When your child is bigger and you switch to a back carry position, you can also wear a backpack diaper bag on your front. It may not look the best, but it can work if you need it to.
Then, you have two ways of carrying the bag. You have the padded shoulder straps, which are quite comfortable to wear when it's loaded down might I add. Then you also have the adjustable crossbody strap which clips on and off. I love this because I keep it in my bag for when I may need to give my shoulder a break and you don't have to leave it attached. Nothing worse than an attached long strap just hanging from the bag! So that is certainly not an issue. The clips the strap attaches to can also adjust as a clip ring - as in attaching keys using the Thirty-One Hang-It-Up Key Fob. This is a great way to prevent losing your keys! https://i.pinimg.com/236x/b1/63/4b/b1634ba7a7fab3716f2216befbe1d376--adult-party-games-laughter.jpg

Though the faith-based theme and mottos are subtle, many consultants enjoy working with a home party sales company that shares their values. Thirty One Gifts supports women in their efforts to bring prosperity to their households. Through the Thirty One Gives charity branch of the organization, the company also gives back to their local Ohio community through donations, building houses for the needy, product donations and more. This commitment to improving the quality of life for those less fortunate falls in line with the sentiments expressed in proverb Thirty One, bolstering the strength and capability of a woman-owned company filled with motivated female consultants and employees. https://i.pinimg.com/236x/7e/46/39/7e463917e301cacdd58e15707d65c68e--pantries-cubes.jpg
